The House of Narcissuss was founded to support art as a form of self expression and support developers in finding the right art piece for their spaces.

Marvit, our founder is a multidisciplinary artist and architectural designer whose work spans digital art, sculpture, painting, and immersive technology. With a background in art and architecture, she brings a unique nexus of art and science harmoniously. A keen eye for detail and a deep commitment to storytelling through art on social issues challenging the society and, Marvit has collaborated with museums, research initiatives, and advocacy groups to create impactful visual narratives in Calgary. Marvit expresses herself using mediums such as Acrylic, Oil, Watercolour, Ink, Digital Art and Mixed Media.

 

Marvit hopes to impact the world positively by sharing perspectives to create an environment of understanding for members of the public thereby fostering unity and a resilient community. Her artistic contributions include animation projects addressing societal social challenges including mental health and racial justice, sculptural works for community organizations, and exhibitions across Canada and the United States. A skilled designer, she integrates architecture, game development, and virtual reality to push creative boundaries. Her work has been showcased in renowned exhibitions such as Tiny Frames (Calgary, 2023), the National American Caribbean Festival (Washington, D.C., 2018), and Galerie X (Montréal, 2018).

 

Holding a Master of Architecture from the University of Calgary and a Diploma in Art from Syn Studio, Montréal, Marvit blends technical expertise with artistic vision. Conversant in English and French, she continues to explore the intersection of art, technology, and social impact, making her practice both innovative and deeply resonant. Senior executive, cultural champion with 10+ years of progressive leadership experience. Marvit is a project manager, administrative professional, multidisciplinary artist, musician and architectural designer. Brings a rare integration of executive management, arts and culture leadership, architectural, research expertise, and UN SDG implementation, with a leadership style grounded in integrity, collaboration, diplomacy, and strategic foresight.

First as a fine art production and educational body, the House of Narcissus offers unique art pieces that spreads joy, connects to people and brighten interior spaces.  Secondly, The House of Narcissuss embraces the transformative power of art. We believe in fostering mental well-being through creativity, offering therapy services that connect art with healing. Thirdly, our workshops and resources bring people together, allowing self-reflection and resilience building in our communities.
